Winter Wedding Magic
Summer may be the most popular choice for weddings, but that doesn’t mean cold season weddings can’t be equally visually arresting. The cold, crisp weather, deep hues and romantic settings can be very inspiring - and you can go as bold or as minimal as you like with the styling.
We’ve put together just a few of our favourite winter brides to help get you inspired and show you just how different winter weddings can be. Everything from intimate Scandinavian elopements to rich tablescapes and dresses that make you sparkle, quite literally!
As usual, we believe that you make your own rules when it comes to your wedding day - stick to tradition or put a spin on it, it’s your day!
Old Times Glamour
Set in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Sophie and Daphne decided to tie the knot at the New Library of the Royal College of Physicians. The dark wood details of the venue gave their wedding a timeless and solemn feel, softened by feminine details like sheer sleeves and romantic blooms.

Bold Details
A winter wedding is the perfect excuse for decadent details! From disco balls to neon lighting and candles at every angle.
Ellen and Dan’s modern wedding nodded towards autumns arrival in rich, bold hues.

Eleanor and Seb had an intimate wedding in Seb’s home country of Sweden. We love how Eleanor embraced chunky knits and bejewelled tones to complement her minimalist dress from Sarah Seven.

Sparkle & Shine
Nothing says winter wedding quite like a little bit of sparkle!
We love the warm hues and golden tones of Becky and Will’s wedding. The cheese stack is also a perfect cold weather alternative to a traditional wedding cake.

The Minimalist Edition
We adore everything about Beth and Matt’s wedding, it embodies ‘Town Hall Chic’ in every sense of the phrase. The city backdrop matched with opulent details like organza sleeves and pearl accessories. The modern tablescape featured Icelandic poppies and nude coloured candles.
