The New York Edit October 23
October means only one thing for us at Heart Aflutter…New York Bridal Fashion Week!!
This is the first October market we have attended since 2019 (thanks to the C word!!), and so it felts particularly exciting to be back in the big Apple catching up with our designers & friends! We take this opportunity to view our current designer’s new collections and to potentially source new designers for the studio.
It’s a full-on week running from showroom to showroom - and we honestly love it!
Here’s a glimpse into what we found…
Designers
We are always blown away by the creativity of our designers! And there’s nothing quite like seeing new collections in the flesh. We have some real corkers coming soon from our existing designers, and there may be a few surprises too - so watch this space!
Accessories
It’s no secret we love a good accessory here at Heart Aflutter Bridal and our inner magpies weren’t disappointed! Loved choosing new styles from our longest standing accessory designer Twigs & Honey, as well as newbie Jade Oi - based locally over the bridge in Brooklyn. We also sourced an amazing new designer for headbands and bows so again watch this space for when new styles will land in the studio!

Here’s where we spent our downtime, refuelling for next appointments. New York can be a bit exhausting, and it’s easy to get caught out in the excitement of it and forget to eat! So we made sure we scheduled in a lot of pit stops for food & coffee! Click the image to find some very delicious NY food stops - we definitely recommend them!
