Real Wedding: Christina and Oliver

Christina and Oli had an Anglo-American celebration in Northumberland. Christina found her Truvelle dress during a trunk show and had the kindest words about her wedding dress shopping experience at Heart Aflutter: “We've just gotten a preview through of some photos from our wedding in Northumberland on 7th July, so I wanted to share them with you and take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for being so fantastic in helping me find "the dress".

I was so unsure about wedding dress shopping at the outset - I'm from the US and my mum and closest friends are all still back home, so I went to too many appointments on my own, FaceTimed with my mum when I could, and even ordered some high street dresses online (the horror!). It wasn't until I came to Heart Aflutter that I truly felt at ease. The dress I ended up with (Truvelle “Alix”) wasn't even one that I picked off the rails myself, but you guys really seem to know what you're doing and I'm so happy I listened to your advice to try on that one last dress!

I can't begin to count how many compliments I got on the day, and perhaps more importantly, I felt so comfortable and happy in the dress of my dreams. Thank you guys again for being so spectacular - you helped make the perfect day!”
