Please describe your wedding

A cliche but it was just the best day! We got married at Trevenna, a converted barn venue on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. We had our closest family and friends stay with us at the venue for two nights, joining us for a BBQ the night before and breakfast on the wedding day and the morning after. We had 90 guests on the wedding day itself. We have three young children and it was so, so special having them with us on our wedding day. Best. Day. Ever.

What was your favourite part of the day?

Too hard to choose…the dancing, the food, the bonkers photographer, swooshing around in my beautiful dress - but probably my 6 year old son doing a reading in front of all 90 guests having practised all morning - just so special!

What piece of advice would you give other couples?

Whatever YOU want to do, DO IT! It’s your one day which you will only do once - so do it how you want!

Why did you fall in love with your dress?

THE FABRIC - I have never seen anything like it before, the fluttery-ness of the circles on the dress was just the best thing ever! I also loved the daring-ness of the deep ‘V’ neckline. Oh, and it has pockets - need I say more?

In fact, as I got to the top of the aisle and turned I actually heard a wedding guest gasp ‘Oh it has POCKETS!’
So many people commented on how beautiful and unique it was.

What was your favourite part of shopping at Heart Aflutter?

The unique selection of dresses - so many beautiful dresses that were so different from anything else I have seen. I could have tried hundreds of them on!
